Vivendi will not take ‘part in German UMTS

The French multi-utility Vivendi will not participate in the auction for UMTS in Germany. The group, which is boosting its presence in telephony, has decided not to participate in the auction to be held in Germany for UMTS licenses, the phones of third generation, according to market as the costs could exceed the figures reached billionaire Britain.
